Week 3

Yes, Week three update! I am so ready to get to Australia! Monday
cannot come any faster...... Everything seems to be going by so fast and it's kind of
sad because I've made such good friends here in the MTC. 
This week we got the chance to teach a man named Don.  Elder Kaas and I got the
impression that we needed to teach about The Book of Mormon.  If you
guys get the chance,  listen to the conference talk given by, Thomas S Monson about The Book of Mormon in the last conference.... do it!!!! We were told by some of our teachers that this could be his last talk.  So knowing that, what does our Prophet decide to speak on?   He speaks on
The Book of Mormon and it's importance in our lives.!!  He could've spoken on
anything he wanted too or made it all about him, but he didn't. He spoke
of the truth of The Book of Mormon.  As we shared this with Don, you
could see him feel the spirit and change his perspective on the Gospel.  The next day after this lesson we came back to visit him and he told us that he wants to share everything he learns with us and with his family. 


I am so grateful for this wonderful gospel that we have.  I'm also so thankful for the opportunity I have to serve the Lord for two years in Australia! 


I invite you all to read alma 41:10... It says, 
10 Do not suppose, because it has been spoken concerning restoration, that ye shall be restored from sin to happiness. Behold, I say unto you, wickedness never was happiness.
It is a wonderful scripture that is very applicable to our lives. I know this church is true and my knowledge of it grows each and every day. I love you all!! Have a wonderful week!!

Well I don't have much time this week so I'm keeping this short and to the point. If we are living by our faith in our Heavenly Father we have nothing to fear.  (Got to spray paint legally :) What is up?!? Man the past couple of weeks have been crazy!!! I can not believe I have been out half a year almost. Well it is now 2018, and it is going to be a year to remember!!!! My New Years resolution is a big one!!!  It may even take your help too! My New Year resolution is too spread the gospel, not only here in Australia, but all over the world!!! So here is how I am going to do that!! You know this thing you are reading right now? Week 8

Holy moly the weeks are flying! This week has been amazing! I absolutely loved general conference!! One thing that i have been asking myself lately is, "what am i focused on? numbers? myself?" The answer to my question came at conference. I am to be focused on the Lords work. We are all apart of his work, just because you don't have a name tag does not mean you are not a missionary. Some people might ask how they can help the missionaries, well that question has a simple answer, REFERRALS! Missionaries work day in and day out trying to find those people that have been prepared to hear of the gospel, by YOU!. But most of the time missionaries need help finding and who knows more people then the missionaries or the people that live in their areas? I am not trying to rebuke anyone on this topic!! i just feel the need to share it with those I love and know can do it!
