Week 24

Well mates this week has been full of things to do!!! It is crazy that on my mission I really never ever feel rested, but some how make it through each day!  The weeks are flying by!!!  I am loving my comp, my area, and the the people of the Wooden Ward.  I love going out each day and thinking, "today is going to be a good day",  because every day is what you make of it,  so if you choose to let things bring you down you will have a crummy day!  Everyone asks me why I am happy ALL the time, well the answer is I choose to be happy !!!  It really is a choice and it really is that easy!!  Just be happy and if you can't find anything to be happy about, then make someone else happy!  IT will change your day, your perspective and your life!  CHOOSE HAPPINESS!  I am so grateful for the love that my Heavenly Father has for me.  I feel it in my life each and every day.  I love you all and do me a favor, ok? CHOOSE TO BE...

Week 23

IT`S THE ELDERS!   This week has consisted of blistered knuckles from knocking doors and sunburns!!!!  My companion and I have been smashing the work out here in Canberra!!! Not only are we working, but we are finding ways to not only work hard, but have fun doing it!!! As you all know Elder Mahoni has been out for about 2 weeks now and he is a big ball of greene fire!!!! His testimony is sooo strong and his work ethic is to the next level of greatness! This week during personal study I came across the story in Mark 12 about the widow. What struck me the hardest out of this story is she casted in all she had, even all her living, yet people judged her and called her out for not putting in more. But those that mocked her and scorned her, did not put in even close to the amount she did. She gave her all!  Like this widow, we need to give OUR everything to the Lord.  We missionaries have 2 years of sweat, little sleep, being away from family, and crying..... SO o...

My new comp, Elder Mohoni  woooooooooozaaaaaaaaaa what is up??? this week has been absolutely crazyyyy!!  There was something that happened to me this week and I feel the need to share it.  This week Elder Kama from FIJI and myself, drove up to Sidney which is a 3 hour drive.   When we were about an hour into it we saw that we where almost out of gas, at this point we were out in the middle of no where not even a rest stop nearby!!  The GPS said the next gas station was 45 min away.... we where flipping out in the middle of no where, ha ha like crazy!  So we said a prayer, in that prayer, I asked My Father in Heaven that we could find a gas station near by.  After the prayer we saw nothing and more nothing and by this time the car began to putt literally! So Elder Kama and I prayed again, this time I had the prompting to look up on the GPS one more time for the nearest Petrol station and you would not believe what happened... all of the sudden t...

Well it is now 2018, and it is going to be a year to remember!!!! My New Years resolution is a big one!!!  It may even take your help too! My New Year resolution is too spread the gospel, not only here in Australia, but all over the world!!! So here is how I am going to do that!! You know this thing you are reading right now? This weekly blog that you read every so often? All I ask of you, is to share it, share the newest LDS.org ad, share inspirational quotes, or things you find bring you peace! Weather it be on face book, twitter, or what ever social media you have just to share something to inspire others, it's that easy!!! Something so simple could influence so many!   Social media is one of the most powerful and helpful missionary tools that we have today.  I know that as you do this not only will you f...
