Week 22

My new comp, Elder Mohoni

woooooooooozaaaaaaaaaa what is up??? this week has been absolutely crazyyyy!!  There was something that happened to me this week and I feel the need to share it.  This week Elder Kama from FIJI and myself, drove up to Sidney which is a 3 hour drive.   When we were about an hour into it we saw that we where almost out of gas, at this point we were out in the middle of no where not even a rest stop nearby!!  The GPS said the next gas station was 45 min away.... we where flipping out in the middle of no where, ha ha like crazy!  So we said a prayer, in that prayer, I asked My Father in Heaven that we could find a gas station near by.  After the prayer we saw nothing and more nothing and by this time the car began to putt literally! So Elder Kama and I prayed again, this time I had the prompting to look up on the GPS one more time for the nearest Petrol station and you would not believe what happened... all of the sudden there was a petrol station showing up on the GPS, only 4 minutes away!  There was a station over a hill, that looked like it hadn't been used since before I was born, but they had gas and that's all that mattered!   Yes, it worked and we made it to Sidney. Elder Kama and I where both silent for a few moments after we found the gas station and we dropped to our knees and said a prayer, thanking our Heavenly Father for watching over us. I know to some people this may sound dumb or just a coincidence,  but to me it is a simple miracle that has strengthened my testimony so much!  I know that the power of prayer is real, I pray for all of you...  I love my Father in Heaven and love serving him every single day with all my heart. I love you all and hope you have a great week!!!! ofa atu !

1.  How was your week?
1.  My week was a bit different this week with getting a new Elder.  On Monday I drove three hours to Sidney, slept at the AP's flat.  The next day I got to stay the day with Elder Barnes in the Liverpool zone.  Wednesday morning I was at the Mission office at 7am to start classes and get paired up with my new Comp.  His name is Elder Mahoni, he is from New Zealand and is Tongan!  (I'm hoping to learn more tongan!)  We finished up at the mission office and drove the three hours back to Canberra.  Thursday we went straight to work tracking, planning and played some basketball that night.  Friday we worked hard all day and then got to have dinner with the Bedford family.  Saturday we got to go "Basketball Finding" where we get to go play basketball with random people in our shirts and ties, it was fun.
