Week 23


IT`S THE ELDERS!
  This week has consisted of blistered knuckles from knocking doors and sunburns!!!!  My companion and I have been smashing the work out here in Canberra!!! Not only are we working, but we are finding ways to not only work hard, but have fun doing it!!! As you all know Elder Mahoni has been out for about 2 weeks now and he is a big ball of greene fire!!!! His testimony is sooo strong and his work ethic is to the next level of greatness! This week during personal study I came across the story in Mark 12 about the widow. What struck me the hardest out of this story is she casted in all she had, even all her living, yet people judged her and called her out for not putting in more. But those that mocked her and scorned her, did not put in even close to the amount she did. She gave her all!  Like this widow, we need to give OUR everything to the Lord.  We missionaries have 2 years of sweat, little sleep, being away from family, and crying..... SO others can sweat less, so others can sleep more, so others can be with there family's for eternity, so others can cry less. This is what we give too our Heavenly Father as missionaries.  But I want you to step back and think of something, what have you given to our Heavenly Father lately?  What have you done to show your love for him?  I am not calling you out or making you feel bad, I am not doing that at all!  I am simply asking you to reflect on your own life. I have been doing this daily and it has made me realize that I have so much more to give of my own life. I love the Bible and the Book Of Mormon, all the teachings inside of them go hand in hand, I love that. Have a great week mates!

1.  yes I got a few pairs of them!!!! thank you for that mom!
2.  How was your week? 
2.  really really hot........ On pday and we played sports! Tuesday we met with Poi our new investigator, who is awesome.  Then we went on splits with the ward members.  Wednesday, we had a recent convert go and visit with Poi us and help teach a lesson... It turned out soooo good! Thursday night we had a sports night and had a great turn out which makes it sooo fun.  Friday lots of finding and we got to have dinner with the Bedfords (yummy!) Saturday we did a "Park and Embark"  where we walked all over the area then had dinner with Jairo.  
3.  What are your plans today?  
3.  We have no idea...
4.  How is your comp doing?  
4.  He is doing great!  I love this guy so much already!!
5.  Investigator progressing?
5.  Poi took the lessons so well this week!  He is supper ready to hear more and is an awesome person! 
6.  I was going to put together a package... you need anything specific? 
6.  I am not really needing much of anything at the moment. BUT some Takies would be awesome!   Oh and I did get the amazon package, thank you guys!  

We have AC in our car at least!!!  

about 105 degrees!!  SOOOOO HOT!

Week 35

Well I don't have much time this week so I'm keeping this short and to the point. If we are living by our faith in our Heavenly Father we have nothing to fear. I have a simple challenge for you today.  All I ask of you this week is to do something that will strengthen your faith in Our Heavenly Father so that you will have nothing to fear!!! I love you all have a great week!!!         Mamma's questions:   1.  How was your week?  1. it was good!!! We moved into a new flat with the zone leaders.  It is really nice! Our investigators are doing really good, it has been a roller coaster, but so worth it. Holy moly the weeks are flying! This week has been amazing! I absolutely loved general conference!! One thing that i have been asking myself lately is, "what am i focused on? numbers? myself?" The answer to my question came at conference. I am to be focused on the Lords work. We are all apart of his work, just because you don't have a name tag does not mean you are not a missionary. Some people might ask how they can help the missionaries, well that question has a simple answer, REFERRALS! Missionaries work day in and day out trying to find those people that have been prepared to hear of the gospel, by YOU!. But most of the time missionaries need help finding and who knows more people then the missionaries or the people that live in their areas? I am not trying to rebuke anyone on this topic!! i just feel the need to share it with those I love and know can do it!
