Week 5

This week has been kinda tough!!!  I have been really trying hard to learn the language, it's hard but I am slowly starting to get it and I am doing sipe (good)!!  The people here are really not nice (except for the Tongan people in our ward, they are the best),  we face alot of rejection and it is hard sometimes, but its ok I'll get over it!! my area is really populated and it is sooooo big haha we visited 6 less actives and guess how many we committed to start coming back to church? 😎 5 of them! heck yeah!! we even committed one of them to quit smoking and drinking for his wife!! and so far he has gone 5 days with out a smoke and a drink!!! we are going to meet with him and his wife tonight for fafanga and family home evening! My days consist of lots of studying and knocking on lottssss of doors!  We talk to lots of people at the train station.  It's getting really HOT here!! Like super holy cow crazy HOT! This week I got to do everything from eat 3 dinners in one night to setting goals with less actives to stop smoking and drinking. The work is amazing, there is nothing better then getting the door slammed in your face or getting cussed at!  I am not being sarcastic haha! the reason why I love it is because I know what I am doing is the right thing and want to share it with others.   The devil is trying to get us down well guess what?? he's gotta do better then slam a few doors or cuss at us...My ward is the best, they are so loving and caring! Mom there is never a time that I am hungry it is great!! haha they literally sit in front of me and when i stop eating they take my plate and give me more then they gave me the first time!! Then when i start to slow down they say " eat moa!" Most days I don't even eat breakfast or lunch, just wait for the huge dinner!!  I am trying to stay in shape, we have nice gym in our home so I get to work out in the morning.   I truly love being a missionary with all my heart. It is really hard, but i know through our Father in Heaven we can do hard things. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that it will bless your lives forever!!! I love the people of Australia, even though most of them don't like me... yet! ;)  . I love it here and would not trade it for the world. i love you all!!

LavaLava My Tongan skirt...
(before Tyler got his mission call, he had a dream about serving in a place that he would have to wear a skirt.  When he opened his call he recalled the dream and told me that its weird cause I really thought I was going too a place that I would have to wear a skirt.  We all discounted the dream as just a dream and moved on... When Tyler got he chance to wear a real Lavalava he was super excited to remind me of his dream months ago!.)
