Week 18
LIGHT THE WORLD MATE!
I want to start off this week by thanking my amazing mom for all the time she puts in to making this blog for me!!!!
OK, so this week has been packed to the top with service!!!! in like 100+ degree weather! No no, don't get me wrong, I am not complaining! You want to know why?? Because of Mosiah 2: 17 that's why!! It says,
17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn awisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the bservice of your cfellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.
I absolutely love giving service to others! That's one of the best things about the mission.... we give all our 2 years to love and serve others. So I want to ask something of you, its soooo simple anyone can do it! Couple of weeks ago, I challenged everyone to do a random act of kindness in order to ease someone's burdens. Well guess what.. I am challenging you all again!!!! We as humans often become selfish.. it is the sad truth. BUT, this is something that we can fix! This is something that is so simple yet so powerful, I PROMISE that if you do one act of kindness, that you will feel JOY. I know that I find joy in helping others and I know without a doubt that you will too. Feel free to let me know how it goes! LIGHT THE WORLD WITH SERVICE TO OTHERS! I love you all! Merry CHRISTmas mates!
