Called to Serve

Mission call....  I was waiting at the post office daily in anticipation of my mission call, literally, my buddy and I would go there each morning first thing to see if our calls arrived!   I was so excited for this next step in my life and looked forward to serving the Lord.  I fully anticipated going stateside, but knew once I read my call that Sydney Australia was where I was supposed to serve.  

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord and represent my Savior in this work.

(We made sweet ties out of paper towels) Yes, Week three update! I am so ready to get to Australia! Monday cannot come any faster...... Everything seems to be going by so fast and it's kind of sad because I've made such good friends here in the MTC.  This week we got the chance to teach a man named Don.  Elder Kaas and I got the impression that we needed to teach about The Book of Mormon.  If you guys get the chance,  listen to the conference talk given by, Thomas S Monson about The Book of Mormon in the last conference.... do it!!!! We were told by some of our teachers that this could be his last talk.  So knowing that, what does our Prophet decide to speak on?   He speaks on The Book of Mormon and it's importance in our lives.!!  He could've spoken on anything he wanted too or made it all about him, but he didn't. Week 35

Well I don't have much time this week so I'm keeping this short and to the point. If we are living by our faith in our Heavenly Father we have nothing to fear. I have a simple challenge for you today.  All I ask of you this week is to do something that will strengthen your faith in Our Heavenly Father so that you will have nothing to fear!!! I love you all have a great week!!!         Mamma's questions:   1.  How was your week?  1. it was good!!! We moved into a new flat with the zone leaders.  It is really nice! Our investigators are doing really good, it has been a roller coaster, but so worth it. Week 27

 As you may know, our dear President Bingham is in the hospital as of right now.  All I can say too everyone is how great of a man he is and how I know that he will get through this. This week, I have learned that life can take a turn at any moment. So what do we need to do? We need to follow the council given in Helaman 5:12 and be firm and not moved when hard things may arise.
