Week 8

Holy moly the weeks are flying! This week has been amazing! I absolutely loved general conference!! One thing that i have been asking myself lately is, "what am i focused on? numbers? myself?" The answer to my question came at conference. I am to be focused on the Lords work. We are all apart of his work, just because you don't have a name tag does not mean you are not a missionary. Some people might ask how they can help the missionaries, well that question has a simple answer, REFERRALS! Missionaries work day in and day out trying to find those people that have been prepared to hear of the gospel, by YOU!. But most of the time missionaries need help finding and who knows more people then the missionaries or the people that live in their areas? I am not trying to rebuke anyone on this topic!! i just feel the need to share it with those I love and know can do it! And make a difference. Each and everyone of you have a gift from God, find out what that gift is and use it in your everyday life. I have found that my gift is being able to talk to literally anyone! I love meeting new people and creating special bonds with them within or even with out the gospel. Be the light in others lives, "embrace all gods children as they are journeying back to our heavenly father." I want you to read his verse in D&C88;119.
119 ^aOrganize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a ^bhouse, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God;

Mama's questions:

1.SOOO how as your week?

My week has been kind of tough, but I'm getting used to my new comp, area and ward its going to be good once I get it all down.
2. New area??? How do you like it?

I love my new area, it is absolutely beautiful. All of Australia is full of trees, I am like 5 min. from the beach and 10 min from the Outback jungle like area.

3. What is your main way of transportation?

We take the train everywhere, it is fast, saves time and easy to get around the large area. I have a car as well.
4. Are you guys teaching anyone?

we are teaching the marsden family. The father is less active and his wife is not a member! They are such a great family, be we need your prayers to find others!! thank you for all the prayers so far.

We are working so hard that we are dead tired and have blisters on our feet each day.
5. When are transfers?

Transfers are this coming Monday
6. Are you eating as well in Sutherland as your last area?

not even close to eating as much, but that is good, The Tongan people show their love with feeding you.... This is a small branch but its all good, we are eating a lot of Top Ramen and Kebab's.
7. I seriously can’t believe the things you are eating…. HORSE!!!

mom lue and horse is honestly sooooo good!! the one wrapped in the green leaf is called lue and it just has corn beef mayo and coconut in it! its a Tongan thing haha! and the horse I would eat it any day!!
