Week 16


We had a great day at the temple! 


Hey Mates, what is up?? This week has been so awesome!! I was made District Leader this transfer, I am in charge of teaching the other missionaries once a week and making sure everyone has what they need in our district.  I also had the opportunity to go to the temple with the youth this last Saturday and holy crap it was awesome!! I love going to the temple, the feelings I have inside are absolutely amazing! I was thinking today about the importance of the temple in our lives. In the temple we are able to do things we can’t anywhere else in the world!! The spirit in the temple is the same anywhere in the world. I felt the spirit the same way allllll the way over here in Australia as I do in the temple back home. The gospel does not change, even when you are on the other side of the world it still is the same! Isn’t that awesome?? I know with that my Heavenly Father loves each and every one of his children. The temple is a place where we can really really come closer to him and feel of his love for us, even stronger. The book of Mormon is true, President Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet here on this earth today to guide us to the right path. I know Joseph Smith translated the book of Mormon through the power of our loving Heavenly Father and it is meant for us in these last days.   I love this gospel and the many wonderful things it has in store for me and for you, I am a Mormon, I know it, I live it, and I love it! #blessed#thebookisbluechurchistrue

1.  How is the new area?
1.  love it reminds me of home!
2.  New comp?  How is he?  Does he speak good English?
2.  he is the man! and yes he does!
3.  I saw the video of your new apartment, not quiet as nice as the last one, but not bad! 
3.  yeah it is not as nice, but its a place to live.... haha 
4.  What is the area like there…. city, or country area?
4.  well there is the city part and there is the country side, we live in the country area.
5  DO you guys drive or ride bikes or train?
5.  drive here!
6.  Are you doing the light the world campaign there too? Our elders are going around to all the members houses to spread the message.
6.  yes! we are doing the same! We have gotten two referrals from it!  I love it!!  #lighttheworld 
7.  Any investigators that you guys are working with there? If so how is it going ?
7. not at the moment!!! But we are working hard each day to find....
8.  Spiritual experiences of the week?
8.  well i had lunch with the ambassador of CostaRica! It was really cool, he told us of his conversion story it was super awesome to hear his story and feel the spirit. He is a great Man!   
9.  Favorite scripture of the week?
2 Nephi 29:8
8 Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of twonations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.
10.  Food in your new area… How is it?  DO the members feed you or do you cook on your own? 
10. Yes, there are alot of Americans here so i get fed good food, its been nice!! haha! one lady in our ward babysat Brent when he was a kid!!!!!! she was also Wendy Risenmay's college roommate!!!! She is a great person!11.  plans for Pday today?

Week 35

Well I don't have much time this week so I'm keeping this short and to the point. If we are living by our faith in our Heavenly Father we have nothing to fear. I have a simple challenge for you today.  All I ask of you this week is to do something that will strengthen your faith in Our Heavenly Father so that you will have nothing to fear!!! I love you all have a great week!!!         Mamma's questions:   1.  How was your week?  1. it was good!!! We moved into a new flat with the zone leaders.  It is really nice! Our investigators are doing really good, it has been a roller coaster, but so worth it. Holy moly the weeks are flying! This week has been amazing! I absolutely loved general conference!! One thing that i have been asking myself lately is, "what am i focused on? numbers? myself?" The answer to my question came at conference. I am to be focused on the Lords work. We are all apart of his work, just because you don't have a name tag does not mean you are not a missionary. Some people might ask how they can help the missionaries, well that question has a simple answer, REFERRALS! Missionaries work day in and day out trying to find those people that have been prepared to hear of the gospel, by YOU!. But most of the time missionaries need help finding and who knows more people then the missionaries or the people that live in their areas? I am not trying to rebuke anyone on this topic!! i just feel the need to share it with those I love and know can do it!
