Week 17



Hey everyone, its Elder Wagner coming to you all the way from the wonderful country of Australia! Well of course you all know that it is the Christmas season, and if you don't yet well it is. Do you know what Christmas is all about?? No it is not all about presents or the bomb food. To me Christmas is a time to be together with family, to serve others, but most importantly to remember our dear Saviors birth. This is a time where we need to stop and think to ourselves, "Do you have room for the Savior?" or how "Do i fit the savior in my everyday life?"   When I was a small boy my dad would always sing the song,"Do you have room for the Savior" every time he would be washing the dishes he would put the CD in and belt out that song. I never really paid much attention too it until about 2 days ago where I heard the same song again.  It made me think back to the good old days haha! but also about how much I have changed, because I have made room for "him". I have let him into my life. I challenge you all to see how much room you make for "him" in your daily life, and make it a goal to better yourself in that way. I love my Father in Heaven and I know he is there to help us. I love you all! have a good week mates!

Questions
1.  Why are there so many american’s in your new area?
1.  this is the capital of Australia, so a lot of people work for the government work here in town!
I want to know some specifics about your days.
4.  Monday
4.  pday! played sports at the chapel
5.  Tuesday
5.  went to a meeting MLC (mission leader conference) in Mortdale, it was really good!
6   Wednesday
6.  service for others, gave one of the sisters a blessing, fixed the fan in our bathroom, knocking and finding,and song practice that night
7   Thursday
7.  more service, knocking, comps doctors app, weekly planing and sports night at the chapel
9   Saturday
9.  baptism, set up for ward party and went to the ward party, knocked on doors while we were free 
This shirt belongs to Todd Gilbert's Missionary companion who lives in my ward, it is their mission shirt from years ago!  
10 Sunday
10. church, visited the less actives, stake MCM, knocking and went to the Oriana family home, the one the pic was from Todd Gilberts mission (Elder Wagner has met two families in his new ward with connections to little Othello!)
12.  Any lessons that you are teaching,  do you teach any less actives? 
12.  not at the moment we are on the hunt for new investigators, yes we teach the less active all the time

13. Proverbs 3: 5-6
5 ¶ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
14.  How is it going as the district leader? Your president wrote us a really nice letter telling us of your new calling and how much he trusts you and loves you!  i loved getting that letter! 
14. ohh that is nice!  it is the same as a normal missionary work, haha just a bit busier and planning trainings each week. 
15.  Any plans for today?

Week 35

Well I don't have much time this week so I'm keeping this short and to the point. If we are living by our faith in our Heavenly Father we have nothing to fear. I have a simple challenge for you today.  All I ask of you this week is to do something that will strengthen your faith in Our Heavenly Father so that you will have nothing to fear!!! I love you all have a great week!!!         Mamma's questions:   1.  How was your week?  1. it was good!!! We moved into a new flat with the zone leaders.  It is really nice! Our investigators are doing really good, it has been a roller coaster, but so worth it. Week 8

Holy moly the weeks are flying! This week has been amazing! I absolutely loved general conference!! One thing that i have been asking myself lately is, "what am i focused on? numbers? myself?" The answer to my question came at conference. I am to be focused on the Lords work. We are all apart of his work, just because you don't have a name tag does not mean you are not a missionary. Some people might ask how they can help the missionaries, well that question has a simple answer, REFERRALS! Missionaries work day in and day out trying to find those people that have been prepared to hear of the gospel, by YOU!. But most of the time missionaries need help finding and who knows more people then the missionaries or the people that live in their areas? I am not trying to rebuke anyone on this topic!! i just feel the need to share it with those I love and know can do it!
