Week 39

Mother's Day Skype....
One of the best days of the year!  
Elder Wagner skype was a bit touch and go with really poor connection, pretty frustrating at first til we got his big brother to help us figure things out!   Elder Wagner shared that he is excited to get smart phones in their mission, which will happen anytime now.  He also talked about his new companion, Elder Harris, saying that he is grateful for his worker ethic and that they are great partners with lots in common.  The kids asked him about this least favorite and favorite food so far... Least favorite being raw fish and favorite Lou (w/corn beef) or horse meat.
Elder Wagner shared his testimony about his love for the gospel, how he wants to better/further himself daily, his growth spiritually and the biggest thing that has shaped who he is thus far in his mission is his desire to further his knowledge of the gospel and Really understanding that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are three separate beings. Saying, "Sacrificing for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is the best thing I could do for two years, for something that is more then anyone could ever imagine.  I have found Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in my life, that is why I am still out in my mission, my love for them.  The best thing that everyone can do is get a basic knowledge of Jesus Christ, read the Book of Mormon, and have the knowledge that HE is there for you!" Love you all, Elder Wagner

Week 35

Well I don't have much time this week so I'm keeping this short and to the point. If we are living by our faith in our Heavenly Father we have nothing to fear. I have a simple challenge for you today.  All I ask of you this week is to do something that will strengthen your faith in Our Heavenly Father so that you will have nothing to fear!!! I love you all have a great week!!!         Mamma's questions:   1.  How was your week?  1. it was good!!! We moved into a new flat with the zone leaders.  It is really nice! Our investigators are doing really good, it has been a roller coaster, but so worth it. They are progressing and seem to understand more and more each time we meet.   Wednesday we had a great zone conference.  We also got to mow grass for service, but otherwise had a pretty normal week.   2.  What is the weather like now? 2.  It feels like October back home, cooler nights. ...

Holy moly the weeks are flying! This week has been amazing! I absolutely loved general conference!! One thing that i have been asking myself lately is, "what am i focused on? numbers? myself?" The answer to my question came at conference. I am to be focused on the Lords work. We are all apart of his work, just because you don't have a name tag does not mean you are not a missionary. Some people might ask how they can help the missionaries, well that question has a simple answer, REFERRALS! Missionaries work day in and day out trying to find those people that have been prepared to hear of the gospel, by YOU!. But most of the time missionaries need help finding and who knows more people then the missionaries or the people that live in their areas? I am not trying to rebuke anyone on this topic!! i just feel the need to share it with those I love and know can do it!
